3 Reasons To Remove A Tree From Your Yard

Trees are absolutely beautiful. They grow tall, change with every season, lose their leaves, and grow back every single year. They give off gorgeous colors every fall, offer shade in the summer, and bud every spring show that warmer days are coming. There does come a time when these beautiful trees need to be removed. Read on for a few reasons why you should have a tree removed from your yard.

1. It's Overgrown

Yes, that beautiful tree that has been growing for nearly a century may be one of the oldest trees in the neighborhood, but it may have grown so large that is a danger. If your tree has grown to the point that it's heavy branches hang over the road in a dangerous way, hang over your home, or they are beginning to grow into the power lines surrounding your home, it may be time for it to be cut down. You may be able to just trim the tree, or top the tree so it can continue to grow. Without those dangerous branches, you can see about doing this instead. Talk to tree service about what options you have for the tree.

2. The Roots Are Causing Problems

Some trees that have been planted too close to your home will begin to cause damage beneath the surface with their roots. Roots will search anywhere for water, and your drainage pipes are the perfect place to find some. If you have roots growing into your drain, it will cause problems inside your home's plumbing. You'll have to snake your drains often in order to help them work properly. Eventually, the roots can break apart your drains and you will have to have a new drain pipe ran from your yard to the main drain. You should have your tree cut down to prevent this from happening.

3. The Tree Is Dying

If your tree is dying, it can pose a danger as the branches may fall off easily because they are dead. If the tree is diseased, it can spread the disease to another tree nearby. If you suspect your tree is dying, you should have it removed completely. If the tree is dying because of overcrowding, as in too many trees near one another, you should have any trees removed that are necessary for the others to survive.

These are just a few reasons to have a tree removed from your yard. If you need a tree removed, don't attempt to do this work yourself. Contact a tree care service for more information.
